Where to Host a Christmas Party in London

1. A lively Christmas party at Bunga Bunga

Situated in lively Covent Garden, Italian Bunga Bunga is the ultimate party place and describes itself as an ‘immersive dining experience’!

There’s something going on every day Monday – Saturday at Bunga Bunga.

2. Party with a view this Christmas at Bar Elba

Spectacular views from this rooftop bar in Waterloo (don’t worry it’s covered in winter!).

There’s plenty going on here during December!

How about…

Every Saturday -an afternoon of festive tunes with a brunch dish and bottomless cocktails from 12-2pm (£55pp)?

3. Party on the river with a Christmas Riverboat cruise with Thames Dinner Cruise or City Experiences

How about a party on the Thames?!  Pretty memorable eh?

City Experiences offer an evening Christmas party cruise from £78pp. It includes a welcome drink, a delicious 3 course festive meal, dancing and a DJ.

Thames Dinner Cruise offers a range of Christmas party cruises:

Lunch and city cruise, 3hrs – welcome drink, festive lunch and dancing to live music (£60pp).

Dinner and city cruise 4 hrs - all the above  (£80pp).

4. A high-brow affair at Berners Tavern

If you’re after sophistication, this beautiful award-winning restaurant is located just north of Oxford Street along the historical Berners St. 

Under the direction of a Michelin -starred chef this restaurant serves seasonal contemporary British cuisine.

There’s a private dining room above the restaurant that can host special events for up to 12 guests.

5. Eat and drink to excess at Mercato Metropolitano

Now for something completely different.  Based in 4 different locations across London and ideal for a Christmas party!

With a community market feel and promising a ‘global approach with a local focus’, you’ll be sitting at tables in wonderfully converted old factories and warehouses and served fresh, artisanal food sourced as locally as possible.

6. Enjoy the cocktails at Gloria’s

A fun trattoria in the middle of Shoreditch.  Spread over two floors this is a lively, decadent restaurant day and night!

A fantastic setting for your Christmas party!

They serve Italian classics and also products from 180 small producers in Italy.

They’re offering a Christmas menu at £55pp.

They also have a space available to hire if you have over 16 people.

7. Dance the night away at Bar Salsa

Ready to party?!  Come to this South American themed nightclub and bar!

Based in Soho and Temple, it promises delicious food and salsa dancing.

You have several festive choices:

Festive 3 course meal and drinks menu from £29pp.

Christmas tapas buffet for 10+ people from £24.95pp.

Bowl food for 10+ from £21.95pp.

8. A relaxing evening at Little Orange Door

A delightful bar and restaurant on Clapham Common.

An unusual concept, it’s like a single floor flat with different rooms you can move into….one is a games room!

A relaxed, homely venue but also a lively one with an upbeat feel.

It can cater for all sizes sitting or standing.

The delicious food is designed for sharing…..canapes and bowl food but it also offers a 4 course Christmas dinner in the lovely botanical conservatory which has access to a terrace.

9. Get into the Christmas spirit at Winter Wonderland, Hyde Park

Mulled wine, hot chocolate, ice skating, roller-coasters, big wheel, food stalls, festive bars and the Ice Kingdom are just some of the things at this extravaganza in the heart of Hyde Park!

What a great place to meet up for a Christmas celebration!

If you have over 20 people check out their festive packages:

Frost Fayre Package, located in the lively Bavarian Hall where you can enjoy live music and DJs.

Christmas Alpine Package, located in the Alpine Lodge’s venues, The Fire Pit or Explorer’s Rest.
