The British Hamper Company is pleased to provide an international delivery service for our luxury food hampers allowing you to treat both your UK based and overseas family, friends and colleagues (or yourself!) to a British gift hamper full of the finest food and drink from British Artisan producers.
The gift hamper prices advertised all include packaging and carriage to your chosen destination.
As default, the prices advertised include delivery to a UK mainland (non remote area) address, however if your hamper is to be delivered to another country/region simply select the delivery destination from the drop down box below the hamper price and select the desired country; the price displayed will then be updated to show the delivered price for your delivery location.
We only use couriers who provide the highest level of service such as DHL. All of our UK and international delivery services provide track and trace for your peace of mind.
Specific delivery date in mind?
No matter where in the world you are sending your hamper you can select your preferred delivery date when entering your delivery address details in checkout and we will endeavour to deliver your hamper on or just prior to the date you have selected. However please note this is a guideline only and cannot be guaranteed as very occasionally factors beyond our control can sometimes cause delay.
When you have selected the hamper you are interested in the earliest delivery date available for your country of choice will be displayed when you select the delivery country under the hamper image.
In checkout when submitting delivery address details you can choose to select this date or a future date for the intended occasion.
If you find the date selector box isn't displayed on your device you may need to update your browser, or update your IOS if ordering on iPhone/IPad. Alternatively please use a different device or give us a call on +44 01522 581 581 and we'll gladly assist with your order.
If you order between Monday - 1pm GMT, Friday we will despatch your hamper within 24 hours. Orders received after 1pm on Friday to Sunday will be despatched the following Monday (excluding UK public holidays). The table below summarises our international gift delivery time scales;

Tracked Courier Delivery Service
Once your hamper has been despatched from British Hamper HQ in Lincolnshire you will receive an email from our courier DHL which will contain tracking details. Please check your email Spam folder in case the DHL email lands there.
With the DHL On Demand Delivery service, you will receive an email that confirms despatch of your shipment, including its scheduled delivery date. The email also contains a link to the DHL website which allows you to track the transit progress or make any changes to the delivery if required.
Should you need to make a change to your hamper delivery there are up to six alternate delivery options available on the DHL Manage Your Delivery website including, changing the delivery date, leaving with a neighbour or even requesting it be put on hold during a vacation. This excellent service tool is easy to use and the site can be accessed from any smartphone, tablet or PC by clicking the link in the DHL On Demand email you will receive when your hamper is dispatched.
What happens if my recipient is not at home when delivery is attempted?
If the courier attempts delivery and nobody is at home to receive the parcel the courier will leave a calling card at the recipient's address and you will also receive an email from DHL On Demand confirming they were unable to deliver.
You can rearrange delivery easily by using the DHL On Demand email sent to you. The recipient can also rearrange delivery by following the simple instructions provided on the calling card.
Please note if the hamper is a surprise gift your recipient may not act on the DHL calling card so we recommend you track the hamper's progress and arrange redelivery for a more convenient date using the DHL On Demand website.

Recipient Contact Details
When providing the delivery address details in the checkout, please provide a contact phone number for the recipient. If you provide a mobile number, our courier will send a text message to your recipient's smartphone with delivery updates including when delivery will be made so that they can ensure they are home to receive the delivery. The courier will also use this number if there are issues with the delivery, such as if they have difficulty finding the address; arranging access to gated premises or to make arrangements for redelivery.
If you provide a local mobile phone number your recipient will also be able to make a change to their hamper delivery by using the DHL On Demand Delivery service tool including arranging delivery on a more convenient date or arranging delivery to their local service point for collection. Please note, that for all deliveries abroad – including the Republic of Ireland – a UK mobile number will not be sufficient, and it must be a local mobile or landline telephone number. The phone number will only be used for delivery purposes.

Remote Area Delivery
Delivery to remote areas takes slightly longer than the 'Earliest Delivery Date' displayed below each hamper, however once you have entered your delivery address details in checkout an updated 'Earliest Delivery Date' will be displayed on the following 'Delivery Dates' checkout page.
Please note there may be an additional remote area surcharge if your delivery destination is in a remote area within your selected country (for example UK Highlands and Islands, Australian Outback, or the Alps). The remote area surcharge is an additional fee charged by our couriers and in order to keep delivered prices competitive for all customers unfortunately we have to charge up to £10 for delivery to these areas. If a remote area surcharge is required it will be displayed on the 'Delivery Dates' checkout page before you have checked out.
International delivery restrictions
Due to customs and excise restrictions we are unable to send our luxury gift hampers containing alcohol or meat to countries outside the EU. However your lucky gift recipients outside of the EU wouldn't be missing out as we have a fantastic range of luxury food hampers full of artisan British produce that we can deliver worldwide.
