It will depend upon which gift you are ordering and when you require delivery.
 

We list the earliest best before dates for each gift basket on their individual pages. So if you require delivery in November, we recommend you look at the product description of the gift box required.
 

If there is no earliest best before date displayed, then it is likely the gift box contains shorter dated products (such as cheese or baked products) which may have a best before date prior to Christmas.
 

If you require delivery in December all gifts will have best before dates suitable for Christmas.
 

The majority of our Christmas presents will have best before dates no earlier than 15th January, however, some fresh gift baskets (such as those containing cheese) may have earliest best before dates for their fresh items just after Christmas.
 

Please note you can order for a later date. We'll schedule your gift basket to be dispatched so that it is received on or just prior to the delivered by date you provide in checkout when you're adding delivery address details.

We're very lucky here at The British Hamper Company – we spend much of the year speaking with small artisan producers and sampling their specialist produce in order to design the best Christmas gifts possible for the festive season.

Wicker baskets give your Christmas gift a traditional look and your recipient will love unstrapping the buckles and lifting the lid. The basket will get plenty of use afterwards for picnics or home storage.
 

Our bespoke British icon gift boxes are made from strong card and offer a contemporary and more cost-effective alternative to traditional wicker.
 

We hand tie our lidded boxes in navy blue grosgrain ribbon, and we find lots of people love to reuse the box afterwards for home storage.
 

Every gift basket is sent with a gift card including a message created by yourself at checkout.
