All our ambient Christmas hampers have an earliest ‘best before’ date of 31st January. This gives your recipient plenty of time to enjoy the award-winning artisan produce.
 

This means you can order your Christmas hampers now, choose a Christmas delivery date, and rest assured knowing that the British food will be enjoyed over the entire festive season.
 

Our fresh Christmas hampers with cheese have a minimum shelf life of 7 days after the hamper delivery date chosen, and our fresh salmon and meat hampers have a minimum shelf life of 4 days after the delivery date chosen.
 

So for our Christmas cheese hampers, meat and salmon hampers, we recommend choosing a hamper delivery date closer to Christmas.

Yes, when you add a Christmas hamper to your basket, you will be given the option to choose your Christmas hamper delivery date.

This is a delivered by date, which means your hamper will either be delivered on the date you choose or up to a few days before.

When your Christmas hamper is dispatched, you’ll receive tracking information via our courier, so you’ll be able to monitor hamper delivery progress. If you see it’s arriving on an undesirable date, you’ll have the option to change the date through your tracking information.

If you provide your recipient’s mobile number when you checkout online, they’ll also receive tracking information which helps ensure smooth delivery.

If your Christmas hamper does arrive a little early, there’s no need to worry. The food in your hamper will last until after Christmas and (unless you’ve chosen a fresh hamper with cheese, salmon or meat), your hamper can be stored ambiently so there’s no need for your recipient to open it.

In fact, we always recommend choosing a Christmas hamper delivery date in the run up to Christmas rather than a few days before. This allows time for the courier to reattempt delivery if your recipient isn’t at home, or in the event of an adverse weather condition.

We have two types of Christmas hamper presentation. Our food hampers are packed into either traditional wicker baskets or our bespoke, contemporary lidded gift hamper boxes. Both are high quality, reusable and recyclable.

If you choose one of our bespoke Xmas gift boxes, it will be hand tied in navy blue grosgrain ribbon.
