So how are our food hampers environmentally friendly?

1. Our striking gift boxes are made from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) recycled board. The FSC promotes responsible forest management covering over 160 million hectares worldwide.

2. Many of our customers keep our gift boxes for a huge range of uses – we love hearing their stories (please get in touch with us!) and we have fun spotting them in people’s houses!

3. Our traditional wicker hampers are also keepsakes – used as attractive toy boxes, for magazine storage, shoe collections and so on.

4. Our tasty products are packaged in biodegradable cardboard, all FSC certified, which is actually recyclable up to seven times! Even the printing on the packaging uses environmentally friendly vegetable-based inks.

5. Some of our products come in attractive metal gifting tins, which are made from recycled metals. These can be recycled or reused (great for stationery, kids toys or dog treats - just use your imagination!). Our delicious tea bags, which you’ll find in our tins, are compostable – definitely a plus, as not all tea bags are.

6. Whilst packing your hamper with the utmost love and care, we use recyclable, shredded decorative vanilla coloured paper to keep your items safe and sustainable recyclable cardboard sleeves to protect bottles whilst in transit.

7. Our luxury hampers are filled with top quality food and drink, some of which is award-winning but all of it is delicious! We care deeply about the provenance of our food and we’re proud to showcase the care and craftsmanship of our talented, small British artisan producers.
